Pescadero Triptych, 3 panels, each panel is 24 x 36 inches.
I have been working on this large painting for quite a while now, and still can't decide if I am happy with it, or if it needs more work. I find that my sense of "doneness" fails me when I work in unusually large sizes... it is hard to tell where the overworking point has been reached.

These remind me of paintings by Vija Celmins, centers of interest all over the place and an impression of endlessness and vastness. They would work great in a room you visit often so that you can look a different parts in successive visits.
congrats for winning the director's choice at Greenwich gallery show ...
what a fine award to add to Thanksgiving day
Happy turday day to you
Ann. I like this a lot. It is so small on the computer. I would imagine the piece is huge, 24 X 36 each panel! So to me, it reminds me of the monet waterlilies, only instead of the pink /blue/ green world, you've created a subtle gray glow of the coastal fog, with rocks to help your eye meander through it(At least to me) I'd love to see it larger if you can post it bigger.
